Welcome and thank you for visiting our website and for your interest in learning more about Temple Beth-El located in sunny St. Petersburg, Florida.  

Located on Florida’s beautiful west coast, Temple Beth-El is a reform Jewish congregation that is focused on making connections. We seek to connect our members with each other as well as with the greater community and world around us.
We are a warm and welcoming community to everyone including our members as well as non-members, visitors, friends, Jews and non Jews. 

We are a diverse community encompassing all levels of religious practice and affiliation. From members that come from traditional Orthodox, Conservative or Reform Jewish backgrounds to interfaith couples/families to GLBT. All are welcome to come and be part of our special community.

ShabbatWe are a fun loving community that regularly gets together for both religious (Jewish prayer, study and education) as well as non-religious activities (making sandwiches for the homeless, building houses with Habitat for Humanity and putting on a world class art festival annually just to name a few).We are a spiritual community that encourages expressions of spirituality in many different forms from studying Torah to participating in one of our Chavurot (friendship groups), to our beautiful music filled services.

In this age of computers, social media, e-mail and smart phones, we at Temple Beth-El seek never to forget that we humans are, by our very nature, social beings that require face to face contact, friendships, relationships to thrive and be happy.
